Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 01, 2026 Effective Date: October 02, 2026

Proshark Experience LLP ("Proshark," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website https://www.proshark.in and provides virtual reality (VR), augmented reality, and interactive software experiences, including ASP STERRAD VRX (collectively, the "Services").

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy details the types of information we collect, how it is used and shared, and your rights regarding your data across our platforms and Meta Horizon / Meta Quest devices.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide, optimize, and support our Services.

A. Information You Provide to Us

  • Direct Communications: When you contact us for customer service, technical assistance, or business inquiries via email or our contact forms, we collect your name, email address, and message contents.

B. Information Collected Automatically Through Meta Quest / Horizon OS

  • Meta Platform Identity: Depending on your privacy settings and interaction with our VR application, we may receive your anonymized or public Meta User ID, Meta avatar representation, and public display name to facilitate account recognition, matchmaking, or leaderboard features.

  • Device and Hardware Data: We collect non-personally identifiable technical details about your device, such as your headset model, operating system version, system language, graphics configuration, and network performance indicators.

  • Usage and Gameplay Telemetry: We collect performance data including session duration, frame rates, interaction logs, in-app milestones, crash logs, and error reports to maintain stability and diagnose bugs.

C. Spatial and Sensor Data Handling

  • Headset, Controller, and Hand Tracking: Our VR applications use local positional tracking, controller inputs, and (if supported) hand/eye tracking APIs provided by the Meta Horizon OS to render the virtual environment in real time. All raw sensor, camera, boundary, and spatial point-cloud data are processed locally on your headset and are never transmitted, recorded, or stored on Proshark servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process collected information for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To launch, run, and synchronize the VR application and authenticate your session.

  • Performance and Bug Resolution: To identify technical glitches, monitor frame rate drops, and improve platform compatibility.

  • Feature Development: To analyze aggregated gameplay mechanics and plan future updates.

  • Support Inquiries: To answer technical requests and respond to user communications.

  • Legal and Safety Compliance: To enforce our terms of service, protect user safety, and comply with regulatory obligations.

3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Processors

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data. We only share data with third parties under the following conditions:

  • Platform Providers (Meta Platforms, Inc.): Core telemetry, store achievements, and entitlement checks are handled via Meta Platform SDKs subject to Meta’s Privacy Policy.

  • Analytics and Infrastructure Partners: We may use reputable infrastructure and analytics providers (such as Unity Gaming Services, Photon Engine, Firebase, or cloud server hosts) strictly to manage multiplayer networking, error tracking, and asset delivery. These partners are contractually limited to processing data solely on our behalf.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by lawful subpoenas, regulatory mandates, or court orders.

4. Data Retention and Storage Security

  • Retention Period: We retain support communications and account identifiers only as long as necessary to maintain active service delivery or resolve open inquiries. Aggregated analytics data is scrubbed of direct identifiers and retained for historical benchmarking.

  • Security Safeguards: We employ industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/HTTPS in transit) and access restrictions to safeguard all data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

5. User Rights and Data Deletion (VRC.Privacy.4 Compliance)

You retain full authority over your personal information. Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.

  • Request correction of inaccurate information.

  • Request the complete deletion of your data from our systems.

  • Withdraw consent for any optional data collection.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 10 for designated Meta Horizon child accounts, where permitted by Meta’s policies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verified parental consent. If we learn that personal data of a child has been gathered without parental consent, we will promptly delete it.
